San Antonio driver flees after wrong-way collision on SH-151

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department are seeking the suspect responsible for fleeing the scene of a wrong-way crash on SH-151 Sunday morning.

According to KSAT, the incident was reported around 12:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of SH-151 near the exit to South Callaghan Road.

Officials believe the driver of a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck was driving southbound in the oncoming lanes when he hit a Lexus 360 sedan and then was struck by a 2019 Toyota. The driver then immediately fled the scene of the crash.

One male passenger in the Dodge was hospitalized with a broken leg. No word on when they exited the vehicle is mentioned in the report.

The other drivers involved in the crash were assessed and released from the scene.

No further identifying information on the driver responsible for the crash has been released at this time.
