San Antonio man dies after crashing SUV on I-10

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police have identified the man who was killed in an accident on I-10 Saturday night, KSAT reports.

Cesar Edgardo Cabrera, 43, was found dead in his 1998 Ford Explorer at around 10:15 p.m. San Antonio Police report that Cabrera lost control of his vehicle, hit two concrete barriers, and skidded across the median. He was struck by an oncoming truck before crashing on the 13600 block of westbound Interstate 10.

authorities responding to a crashAccording to KSAT, a witness told SAPD that a Toyota RAV4 cut Cabrera off and potentially caused him to lose control of the vehicle.

Police are currently investigating the situation but say that drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as potential factors. Our team will continue to monitor the story.
