SAN ANTONIO, TX – One woman was struck and killed while sitting in the northbound lanes of I-35 early Monday morning.
According to KSAT, the crash was reported at about 3:40 a.m. on the interstate near the exit to Theo Avenue.
Witnesses said several cars swerved to avoid the woman who was sitting in the travel lanes before she was struck and killed by a truck. The driver of the truck did not stop to render aid to the woman. However, they may have not known that they struck her.
Details regarding the identity of the woman or why she was in the roadway remain unclear at this time.
