SAPD respond to over 1,000 crashes over the weekend

SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio police responded to over 1,000 reports of weather-related crashes between Feb. 13 and Feb. 15.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, officers were called to nearly 1,200 vehicle crashes, including 13 collisions involving department vehicles.

It is still unclear how many people were injured as a result of last weekend’s San Antonio car accidents. However, police are urging residents to avoid travel if possible until weather and road conditions improve.
