UPDATE: Second victim identified in fatal San Antonio wrong-way collision

SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office has released the identity of another driver killed as the result of a previously reported collision involving a wrong-way driver early last Thursday morning.

According to KSAT, 23-year-old David Alaquinez was traveling eastbound on Loop 410 near Roosevelt Road when he swerved to avoid a wrong-way driver and ran into the rear of a big rig, and became wedged underneath.

Alaquinez was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.

The driver responsible for the crash, 26-year-old Alejandro Montoya Rodriguez, proceeded down the roadway causing two more serious collisions, including a second fatality. He has been arrested and charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter.
