2 adults killed, 4 children survive serious collision in Helotes

HELOTES, TX – Investigators are looking into the cause of a collision that killed two parents and injured four children Sunday evening.

According to KTSA, the accident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. along Bandera Road near Diamond K Trail when a van erratically cut in front of a pickup truck causing the two vehicles to collide.

Two adults in the front seats of the van were killed in the crash. Their four children were all transported to University Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The driver in the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

No information with regard to the identities of those involved has been made available at this time.

Investigators are working to determine an official cause of the crash.
