Stolen vehicle chase ends in 3-vehicle San Antonio collision

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Three people were injured and one suspect was arrested following a police chase and ensuing collision in San Antonio Thursday morning.

According to KSAT, the chase began around 7:30 a.m. when an SUV was stolen in Kirby. Officers with the SAPD and BCSO joined the pursuit as the driver fled down FM-78.

Once the suspect reached Toepperwein Road near the intersection with Sage Oak, he began traveling in the oncoming lanes of traffic. Moments later, the stolen vehicle collided with an oncoming SUV followed by a third SUV that was unable to stop in time.

All three drivers, including the juvenile suspect, sustained minor injuries in the wreck.
