Celebrating Women’s History Month: Knowledge, Progress, and a Fun Challenge
Women’s History Month is a time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the women who have shaped our history—often without recognition, credit, or applause. It’s a month dedicated not only to honoring well-known trailblazers, but also to lifting up the countless women whose contributions quietly changed the course of science, law, business, education, civil rights, medicine, and everyday life.
From innovators and activists to leaders, caregivers, and creators, women’s impact is woven into every part of our society. Yet much of that history is still under-told, misunderstood, or overlooked. That’s exactly why Women’s History Month matters: it gives us space to learn, question, and appreciate how far we’ve come—and how much work still lies ahead.
This month, we’re celebrating Women’s History Month by doing two things:
-
Honoring the legacy and impact of women throughout history, and
-
Inviting our community to test their knowledge with a fun, interactive quiz—plus a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card.
Why Women’s History Month Still Matters
Women’s History Month isn’t just about the past—it’s about context. Understanding women’s history helps explain where we are today. It sheds light on why certain barriers existed, how they were challenged, and who pushed through them—often at great personal cost.
For much of history, women were excluded from formal power structures, denied educational opportunities, locked out of professions, and written out of official records. Despite this, women still led movements, built businesses, made groundbreaking discoveries, and advocated for change. Many did so without the expectation of recognition—simply because the work needed to be done.
Celebrating women’s history is about:
-
Acknowledging resilience in the face of systemic barriers
-
Recognizing achievements that were minimized or erased
-
Creating space for learning and curiosity
-
Inspiring future generations to keep pushing forward
It’s also about challenging assumptions. Women’s history isn’t one story—it’s many. It includes women of different races, cultures, backgrounds, identities, and experiences, all contributing in unique ways.
Learning Can Be Fun (and a Little Tricky)
Let’s be honest—history quizzes can sometimes feel intimidating or academic. We wanted to flip that idea on its head.
This Women’s History Month, we created a tricky-but-fun quiz designed to spark curiosity, not pressure. Some questions might surprise you. Others may make you pause and think, “Wait… is that really true?” And that’s exactly the point.
The quiz isn’t about proving who knows the most. It’s about:
-
Engaging with women’s history in a meaningful way
-
Learning something new (or rediscovering something forgotten)
-
Having fun while celebrating the month
You don’t need to be a history expert. You don’t need a perfect score. You just need curiosity.

A Note on Googling (or Using AI 😉)
We get it—answers are easier than ever to find. Google is fast. AI is everywhere. And yes, it would be very easy to look up every answer.
But we’re encouraging you to do something a little different.
Try your best to take the quiz without using Google or AI.
Not because there’s a rule against it—but because the goal is to truly test what you already know.
Think of it as a personal challenge:
-
What facts stick with you?
-
What assumptions might you have?
-
What surprises you?
Once you submit the quiz, the full answer key will be available, so you’ll still get the chance to learn and explore more—no matter how you score.
Why Participation Matters More Than Perfection
So often, women are taught that they need to be perfect to be recognized—to know everything, do everything, and get it all right. This quiz is intentionally designed to push back against that idea.
You don’t need to get every question right.
You don’t need to prove anything.
You just need to show up.
By participating, you’re:
-
Supporting awareness around women’s history
-
Taking time to learn and reflect
-
Being part of a larger conversation
-
Celebrating progress, curiosity, and growth
And yes—you’re also giving yourself a chance to win a gift card. Win-win.
Women’s History Is Still Being Written
One of the most important things to remember during Women’s History Month is that history isn’t finished. Every day, women are still shaping industries, advocating for change, breaking barriers, and redefining what leadership looks like.
The stories we tell—and the questions we ask—help determine whose contributions are remembered.
By engaging with women’s history today, we help ensure that future generations inherit a fuller, more accurate story—one that reflects the strength, intelligence, creativity, and resilience of women across time.

Our Texas personal injury lawyers help clients who have suffered injuries in various accidents.
We can help you if you have been harmed by the following:
- Car accidents – Our lawyers have extensive experience handling car accident cases. We will work to identify the party or parties at fault for the crash and build a case to demonstrate persuasively how the parties caused the accident and your injuries. We will seek fair and full compensation through a negotiated settlement or at trial if necessary.
- Truck accidents – Thousands of large commercial trucks travel the roads of Texas every single day. Unfortunately, careless truck drivers and trucking companies disregarding safety put innocent people at risk of serious injuries. If you’ve been injured in a truck accident, let our experienced Texas personal injury lawyers stand up to the trucking companies and insurers on your behalf.
- Motorcycle accidents – Motorcycle riders often suffer grievous injuries in crashes caused by other motorists. Too many motorcycle accidents in Corpus Christi are caused by careless drivers who don’t look for motorcycle riders or violate their right of way. Our personal injury lawyers will work to cut through the bias and stigma against motorcycle riders. Our goal is to seek the financial compensation that you’ll need to recover from a serious motorcycle accident and injuries such as bone fractures, road rash, or traumatic brain injury.
- Product liability – Product manufacturers have a legal obligation to make products that are safe for their intended uses and to warn consumers of any risks that may come with the product. When products have design or manufacturing defects or undisclosed dangers, the product manufacturer may be legally responsible for injuries suffered by consumers. Our attorneys can help you evaluate whether you have a valid product liability claim.
- Brain injury – Brain injuries can leave accident victims with disabilities that leave them unable to work or perform many tasks of daily living. Seeking compensation for a brain injury in an accident often proves incredibly complex. The brain injury survivor may seek compensation for anticipated future medical care and the medical care already provided. Our personal injury lawyers can help you through the difficult recovery process following a brain injury and will fight to make sure you have the resources you need.
- Spinal injury – Spinal cord injuries could cost millions of dollars of care over the course of the victim’s lifetime, especially when those injuries result in partial or complete paralysis, such as paraplegia or quadriplegia. If you or your loved one has suffered a spinal cord injury, you deserve compassionate legal representation. Our attorney can help you determine whether you may be entitled to claim compensation for your injury and expenses related to living with the disability, such as making a home more accessible.
- Wrongful death – If you have lost a loved one due to the negligent or reckless actions of another party, your family deserves to seek accountability and compensation from those at fault for the wrongful death. Our caring and dedicated attorneys can help guide you and your family through this difficult and painful time and seek justice for your loved one.
