Franz later entered the San Antonio College Police Academy and began a distinguished career in law enforcement with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Over the course of 25 years in public service, he gained extensive experience protecting and serving his community, ultimately becoming Chief of Police for the City of Olney, Texas.
