Mr. Joseph Garza is located at our San Antonio office. He completed his Doctor of Jurisprudence at St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2017 and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in Political Science. While in law school, Mr. Garza received the Public Service Award for his pro bono work with the St. Mary’s University School of Law Identification Recovery Program, and was a quarter-finalist in the Schlueter First Year Moot Court Competition.
Also, while completing his legal degree, Mr. Garza interned with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, and clerked with the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and a San Antonio-based personal injury firm. Mr. Garza now focuses solely on helping individuals that have been hurt due to the negligence of others and continues to improve and learn every day to be the best advocate for his clients.
Before pursuing his law degree, Mr. Garza was a U.S. History Teacher with San Antonio Independent School District; where he was also a soccer and tennis coach.
Beyond his work as an attorney, Mr. Garza is a former Peace Corps volunteer who served in Ukraine, and when he is not in the office, Mr. Garza enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and twin daughters.
