Mr. Hancock, a native Texan, graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University in 1980 and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1983. Ron began his legal practice in Houston at the age of 24. He became a shareholder in a highly respected firm at age 30 and later served as managing partner of another highly respected firm in Houston for over 20 years. He now splits his professional time between Houston and Corpus Christi.
Ron began his practice handling a diversified docket including product liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation and automobile collision cases. Thereafter, for over 15 years, Ron specialized in toxic tort, mass tort and product liability litigation. Subsequently, he split his time representing parties on both sides of the civil docket having developed a practical understanding for the needs of all litigants. For the past 5 years, Ron has exclusively represented plaintiffs with personal injury claims.
Ron’s organizational skills and grasp of the “big picture” have enabled him to effectively handle and successfully conclude literally thousands of cases while always remaining keenly aware of the particular needs of his clients. Ron has received Martindale Hubble’s highest rating for an attorney, “AV”, for the past 30 years.
