LAUGHLIN, NV – According to the San Antonio Express-News, officials have released the pilot’s identity who died in a fatal “aircraft mishap” Friday.
2nd Lt. Anthony D. Wentz, 23, died in the crash, which involved a pair of T-38C Talon planes. Rescue crews flew the other two pilots to an area hospital. One of the two was treated and released Friday. The other pilot is in critical condition.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
