LA GLORIA, TX – A police pursuit turned deadly when a rollover crash took the life of a man on FM 755 north of FM 1017 Friday, KRGV reports.
The chase began when Francisco Arzate Avilez, 23, refused to yield to law enforcement. Avilez lost control of his Ford F-150 while driving at excessive speeds, causing it to rollover.
A passenger in Avilez’s vehicle, Faustino Cabrera Cardoso, 48, died at the crash scene.
Avilez is currently facing a number of charges, including murder, evading arrest detention, and more.
