Herrman & Herrman Proudly Supports the 19th Annual Walk for Memory in Corpus Christi
Herrman & Herrman, P.L.L.C. is proud to serve as a Community Partner for the 19th Annual Walk for Memory, presented by Face to Face. This meaningful community event will bring Coastal Bend families, caregivers, friends, and supporters together to honor loved ones, raise awareness about dementia, and remind local families that they do not have to face the journey alone.
The Walk for Memory will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cole Park, located at 1900 Ocean Drive in Corpus Christi, Texas.
We invite our friends, clients, team members, and neighbors throughout the Coastal Bend to join us for a morning centered on remembrance, connection, and hope.
Walking in Honor and in Memory
For many families, dementia is deeply personal. It may mean watching a parent, spouse, grandparent, sibling, or friend experience changes in memory, behavior, communication, and independence. It can also mean taking on the demanding role of caregiver while navigating difficult decisions and an uncertain future.
The Walk for Memory gives our community an opportunity to come together and recognize everyone affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
Participants may walk in memory of someone they have lost, in honor of someone currently living with dementia, or in support of the caregivers who give their time, energy, and compassion each day. Some walkers will bring photographs, wear a loved one’s name, or create a team with family members, friends, coworkers, or fellow members of their church or organization.
Every participant has a different story, but every step sends the same important message: families affected by dementia are not alone.
Registered walkers will receive a complimentary remembrance heart fan and bracelet at check-in while supplies last. These items offer participants another way to carry the memory or name of someone special with them throughout the walk.
Supporting Face to Face and Coastal Bend Families
Face to Face is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and their families throughout the Coastal Bend.
Since 2007, the organization has worked to make dementia education, caregiver assistance, respite resources, and community support more accessible to local families. Its programs are designed to help caregivers feel informed, connected, and supported throughout every stage of the caregiving journey.
Face to Face offers educational presentations, caregiver guidance, healthy-aging education, community resources, respite support, and opportunities for caregivers to connect with people who understand their experiences. The organization also provides Cara a Cara, Spanish-language education and support intended to make dementia information and caregiver resources more accessible to Spanish-speaking families.
The Walk for Memory helps support these important programs and resources. Funds raised through the event remain in the Coastal Bend, creating a direct local impact for families in our own communities.
By registering for the walk, forming a team, volunteering, donating, or sponsoring the event, participants help Face to Face continue providing compassionate assistance close to home.

What to Expect at the Walk for Memory
The Walk for Memory is a welcoming event for people of all ages. Families, friends, caregivers, coworkers, community groups, and organizations are encouraged to attend.
Participants will walk together along the Cole Park waterfront while honoring and remembering people whose lives have been affected by dementia. The event will also include opportunities for community connection, tributes and remembrance, helpful resources, and information about dementia education and caregiver support in the Coastal Bend.
Official Walk for Memory shirts will also be available for those who would like to show their support on event day.
Whether dementia has affected your own family or you simply want to support local caregivers and neighbors, you are welcome to participate. You do not need to have a personal connection to dementia to make a meaningful difference.
