Hundreds left without power in Corpus Christi due to vehicle accident

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – According to KIIITV, a vehicle accident has downed a primary wire in Corpus Christi, leaving roughly 800 residents without power.

The outage was first reported this morning at around 11 a.m., and affects customers in South Corpus Christi.

American Electric Power crews are currently working to restore electricity. Earlier today, their crews discovered a downed line that initially left 3,000 people without power.
