BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department reported a single injury resulting from a two-vehicle collision near I-69E last Tuesday, February 23rd.
The accident took place at about 11:17 a.m. along Boca Chica Boulevard near the intersection with I-69E Frontage Road.
Investigators believe the 39-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2002 Buick attempted to turn on red and struck an oncoming 2018 Tesla.
Neither driver was injured as a result of the crash. However, a 29-year-old female passenger in the Tesla sustained unknown injuries.
