Everhart Road exit ramp in Corpus Christ closes for TxDOT project

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The exit ramp from State Highway 358 to Everhart Road closed last night as part of Phase 5 of TxDOT’s $50 million overhaul project, KRIS reports.

The project, which has been underway since 2018, has been reversing many of the highway’s on- and off-ramps. The Everhart Road exit will be moved further to the west, out of safety concerns.

The City of Corpus Christi has been conducting its own roadwork in the area, and is in the final stages of a major reconstruction of Everhart.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, as the project will likely affect traffic—which could in turn lead to car accidents—for some time to come.

If you’ve been injured in a car accident in the Corpus Christi area, you could be owed significant compensation. To discuss your case with an experienced Corpus Christi car accident lawyer, contact Herrman and Herrman today, online or by calling 361.882.4357.
