2 injured following auto vs. pedestrian crash near Rolling Ridge Club

SAN ANTONIO, TX -First responders transported two people to an area hospital following an auto vs. pedestrian collision at I-410 SB and Evers Rd Friday.

According to KSAT, the pickup truck driver suffered a medical episode and struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road before slamming into a flyover column. The collision with the column caused the truck to catch on fire.

First responders were called to the scene around noon. They transported both the driver and the pedestrian to an area hospital in critical condition.

Authorities have not released the identities of the two victims.
