PORT ARANSAS, TX – One man was killed and two others sent to the hospital following a plane crash at the Mustang Island Airport on Saturday.
According to KIII, the incident was reported on April 24th at about 1:35 p.m.
The pilot of the plane, 76-year-old Carrol V. Jorgenson, of Corpus Christi, was killed in the crash. Two passengers, ages 40 and 8, sustained serious injuries after being ejected from the plane.
The passengers were both taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
