18-year-old arrested following 3-vehicle crash in New Braunfels

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – A New Braunfels man has been charged with several crimes relating to a three0car collision Wednesday evening.

According to News 4 SA, Police officers attempted to stop a reportedly stolen vehicle within the 100 block of Rosa Parks Drive when the driver sped away down FM-725.

When the suspect approached the intersection with Union Wine Road, he collided with the rear of a Ford Escape that was stopped at the light. The force of the initial crash sent the Ford into oncoming traffic where it was struck by a Didge Ram.

The suspect then attempted to flee on foot but was caught and arrested. He has since been identified as 18-year-old Jesus Romero.

Luckily, no one in the other two vehicles was injured as a result of the crash.
