BEAUMONT, TX – A fatal collision on FM 365 west of Beaumont claimed the lives of two people Monday evening, according to 12 News Now.
Kelvin Rivera, 28, was driving a Honda on westbound Hwy 365 when they crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck a Dodge van driven by Andresina Borja, 32.
Rivera was taken to an area hospital by emergency crews.
Eight people were in the van at the time of the collision. Tulio Funes Canales, 40, died. The driver and five passengers were taken to an area hospital by first responders around 8:20 p.m. The seventh passenger was airlifted to a hospital in Houston.
Timotea Borja, 71, was a passenger in Rivera’s Honda at the time of the collision. She was pronounced dead.
