2 injured, including teen driver, after northwest Brownsville crash

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Both drivers involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Brownsville last week suffered injuries as a result.

The June 8th crash took place shortly before 6 p.m. along South Padre Island Highway, just outside of the Royal Poinciana Family Park.

Responding officers with the Brownsville Police Department say the 16-year-old female driver of a 2013 Cadillac failed to yield the right of way to a 1987 Ford and was T-boned at the intersection.

Both the driver in the at-fault vehicle and the 54-year-old man in the Ford sustained unknown injuries.
