EDINBURG, TX – According to KRGV, a driver collided with a police vehicle at McColl Rd and Freddy Gonzalez Dr Tuesday.
A Chevrolet Tahoe driver was heading south on McColl Rd when they ran a red light and hit a police vehicle as it was making a left turn onto Freddy Gonzalez Dr.
Rescue crews transported both occupants of the Tahoe and the officer in the police unit to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police are investigating the incident.
