21-year-old woman injured in rear-end Corpus Christi crash

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A female passenger was injured as the result of a rear-end collision along Kostoryz Road Friday evening.

The Corpus Christi car accident happened within the 4600 block of Kostoryz Road near the intersection with Foley Drive at about 6:50 p.m.

Investigators believe the 33-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2015 Nissan was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided with the rear of a 2009 Buick.

The driver responsible for the crash and the driver in the second vehicle were both uninjured as a result. However, a 21-year-old female passenger in the Buick was reportedly injured as a result of the crash. No information with regard to the extent of her injuries has been released at this time.
