42-year-old woman hurt following rear-end crash in Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A woman sustained injuries as the result of a collision just outside of the Cameron County Sheriff’s office last week.

The April 13th crash took place shortly after 7 p.m. within the 7100 block of Old Alice Road, just south of I-169.

Officers with the Brownsville Police Department say the 41-year-old male driver of a 2020 Dodge was traveling at a high rate of speed when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2012 Mazda.

The man in the Dodge was uninjured. However, the 42-year-old woman in the Mazda sustained unknown injuries.
