MCALLEN, TX – Six people sustained injuries as the result of a head-on collision in northwest McAllen last Tuesday night.
The tw0-vehicle crash took place at about 7:09 p.m. along Pecan Boulevard at the intersection with Gumwoood.
Responding officers believe the 40-year-old female driver of a 2010 Chrysler drover through a red light and collided head-on with the front driver’s side of a 2016 Volkswagen.
All six individuals involved were injured as a result of the crash, including children ages 2, 8, and 9. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
