63-Year-Old Woman Injured Following Rear-End Collision in Downtown Brownsville

BROWNSVILLE, TX – A woman was injured as the result of a rear-end collision near downtown Brownsville last Tuesday afternoon.

The central Brownsville car accident occurred at about 12:22 p.m. along University Boulevard near the intersection with International Boulevard.

Police say the 29-year-old male driver of a 2021 Kia was traveling at an unsafe speed when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2011 Mazda.

The driver responsible for the crash was uninjured. However, the 63-year-old female driver in the Mazda sustained unknown injuries.
