Brownsville police identify 26-year-old victim in fatal collision

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Investigators in Brownsville have released the identity of the man killed in a single-vehicle collision last week.

According to KRGV, the March 17th crash occurred at about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Quail Trail Street and Ruben M. Torres Boulevard.

Police say 26-year-old Eduardo Sanchez Cordova lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a light post. He was pronounced dead upon authorities’ arrival at the scene.

No other injuries were reported as a direct result of the collision.
