Brownsville police respond to suspected DWI collision on I-69E

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officers with the Brownsville Police Department were called to the scene of a single-vehicle DWI collision on I-69E late last week.

The March 4th crash occurred at about 12:46 a.m. near the exit to Los Ebanos Boulevard.

Responding officers believe the 28-year-old male driver had been drinking prior to losing control of his 2017 Ford at a high rate of speed and colliding with a fixed object along the roadway.

The driver was uninjured in Thursday’s Brownsville DWI crash. It is unclear if he will face any charges at this time.
