Child involved in Corpus Christi rear-end collision

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Police in Corpus Christi responded to a rear-end collision involving a 6-year-old child late Sunday morning.

The collision occurred just before noon along Saratoga Boulevard near the intersection with Weber Road.

Police believe the 18-year-old woman behind the wheel of a 2012 Ford was traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with the rear of a 2018 Honda.

Neither the woman responsible for the crash nor the 60-year-old woman and a 6-year-old boy in the Honda was reportedly injured as a result of the crash.
