MCALLEN, TX – According to KRGV, a man was killed Saturday when he crashed his car on TX 186 west of FM 1015.
The crash took place around 1:15 p.m. when 40-year-old George Luis Alaniz Jr. lost control of his Nissan. His vehicle ran into a ditch, went airborne, and struck multiple trees and a cement structure.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the roadway was wet at the time of the crash and Alaniz was driving too fast for the conditions.
The crash is still under investigation at this time.
