Hit-and-run driver strikes woman standing outside stalled car

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a driver who fled the scene on Monday night, KSAT reports.

The 36-year-old victim was standing outside of her 2014 Nissan Altima on South W.W. White Road around 10:30 p.m. when she was hit by a grey sedan.

She was dragged down the road before falling to the ground. The sedan drive drove off without stopping.

The woman was taken to the hospital with several injuries. She is now in stable condition.

The driver reported the crash at the police station several hours later and was arrested for failure to stop and render aid.
