CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department reported at least one injury resulting from a multi-vehicle collision on Ocean Drive last Wednesday.
The incident was reported shortly before 3 p.m. along Ocean Dr. just outside of Swantner Park. Officials at the scene of the crash say the 61-year-old male driver of a 2013 Chevrolet failed to yield to the right of way of a 2019 Mercedes-Benz and was struck on the driver’s side front door.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 19-year-old woman, was reported injured as a result of the crash. Details regarding the extent of her injuries have not yet been made available to the public.
