Injury reported following rear-end collision on Roosevelt Ave.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Investigators with the San Antonio Police Department have reported at least one injury as the result of a single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.

The incident was reported just after 4 p.m. within the 5000 block of Roosevelt Avenue north of the intersection with Rilling Road.

Police believe the 27-year-old male driver of a 2007 Chevrolet was inattentive to stopped or slowed traffic in front of him when his vehicle collided with the rear of a 2020 Kia.

The driver in the Kia, a 66-year-old woman, was reportedly injured as a result of the collision. Details regarding the extent of her injuries have not yet been made available to the public.
