Motorcyclist struck, dragged 100 Ft. along I-35

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a Buick and dragged along an I-35 Frontage Rd Monday evening, KSAT reports.

According to witnesses Kenneth Keys, Jr., 39 was driving aggressively in the 3200 block of southbound I-35 Frontage Rd when he ran over the victim.

The motorcyclist was drug about 100 yards before he became dislodged from underneath the vehicle. Keys continued to drive the Buick with the motorcycle pinned underneath it until he was no longer able to steer.

Police attempted to conduct a sobriety test on Keys when he finally stopped, but he became combative. He was arrested and now faces multiple charges including failure to stop and render aid, resisting arrest, aggravated assault, and intoxication assault.

First responders arrived on the scene around 8:20 p.m. and transported the victim to Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition.
