Pedestrian killed in multi-car hit-and-run near St. Mary’s University

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was killed on the west side early this morning when he was hit by two drivers who fled the scene, News 4 San Antonio reports.

Police say the fatal incident happened at Culebra Road and N. San Horacio Avenue at about midnight.

A Dodge pickup truck struck the man as he was in the roadway and then drove away without stopping. A second vehicle hit the injured man moments later and was also gone by the time authorities arrived.

Emergency responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

One of the motorists returned to the scene while police were investigating. No one had been arrested as of this morning.
