San Antonio man charged with murder in connection to fatal July crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man from San Antonio is facing a murder charge after being involved in a fatal collision on Babcock Road in late July.

According to News 4 SA, 19-year-old Savannah Ramos was killed on July 30th when a suicidal man intentionally drove his vehicle head-on into a vehicle in which she was a passenger. She was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later

Colby Burke was arrested at the time of the crash. Burke says the incident occurred as part of a failed suicide attempt. He has since been charged with murder in connection to the crash and is currently in custody at a San Antonio jail awaiting trial.
