San Antonio police identify victim in fatal South Side pedestrian hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office have identified the male pedestrian killed in a South Side hit-and-run last Wednesday.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, 65-year-old Horacio Ramirez was struck while attempting to cross the street within the 200 block of Moursund Boulevard at about 8:00 p.m. Witnesses attempted to perform CPR on the man, but he died at the hospital a short time later.

Police believe Ramirez was struck by the driver in a white GMC truck who failed to stop and render aid to the man.
