SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police are seeking the driver who ran a red light on the south side early Sunday morning, fatally struck a motorcyclist, and then fled the scene, Fox 29 reports.
Police say the 30-year-old victim was riding west on Southcross Boulevard when a 2008 Honda Accord ran a red light at the I-35 access road in front of him. The motorcyclist T-boned the Honda and was thrown from his 2004 Suzuki. The Honda’s driver did not stop to render aid.
Emergency responders rushed the injured motorcyclist to Brooke Army Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are seeking the Honda’s driver, and plan to arrest that individual for failure to stop and render aid -resulting in death.
