SAN ANTONIO, TX – The victim in last week’s fatal pickup truck crash near downtown has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office.
According to KSAT, Daniel De La Rosa attempted to take the exit ramp from southbound I-35 to Frio Street at about 2:30 a.m. when he failed to negotiate the turn and crashed into the concrete barrier.
De La Rosa’s pickup truck then fell off the ramp, ejecting him in the process. He was pronounced dead at the scene moments later.
No other vehicles were involved in the fatal crash.
