Victim identified in fatal San Antonio stolen vehicle crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office have identified the man killed after a head-on collision while driving a stolen vehicle last Friday night.

According to My San Antonio, the incident was reported within the 6900 block of West Commerce around 9 p.m.

Police say 30-year-old Fabian Vasquez was driving a stolen 2018 Chevrolet Camaro in the wrong direction when he swerved into a 2009 Jeep Patriot.

Vasquez was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene of the crash. Details regarding the condition of the other driver involved have not been made public.
