Woman in critical condition after hitting concrete median in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO — A single-vehicle injury accident early Friday morning left a woman in critical condition. According to NEWS 4 SA, at around 1:30 a.m Friday morning, a vehicle crashed into a concrete medianĀ at the Interstate 35 and Loop 410 Interchange.

SAPD have reported that the driver likely lost control of the vehicle on the 410 flyover, drove down an embankment, and struck the concrete median. The driver, an unidentified San Antonio woman, was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Authorities closed a section of I-35 for about two hours while they investigated the wreck.
