One dead, two injured in head-on crash on Babcock Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, one person was killed and two were hospitalized due to a head-on crash in the 6800 block of Babcock Road.

The accident took place yesterday evening, when a car driven by a 26-year-old man crossed into oncoming traffic on Babcock Road and hit a car carrying three women. The women’s car caught on fire. Witnesses helped free the occupants.

One passenger was killed in the crash, while the other two occupants were hospitalized.

The man who caused the crash attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended. Police say that the man may face murder charges because they believe he may have intentionally veered into oncoming traffic.

This crash is currently under investigation.
