MCALLEN, TX – According to a tweet from the Texas Department of Transportation, the intersection of Main Street and the westbound I-2 frontage is closed for roadwork.
A TxDOT contractor will be closing the intersection of Main St and westbound frontage road of I-2 in @CityofMcAllen because of preparatory work prior to the placement of hot-mix. The closure is today from 9AM to 5PM.

The closure began this morning at around 9 a.m. this morning and the road will reopen at 5 p.m. this evening. The closure will allow preparatory work to take place for the placement of hot-mix.
