SAN MARCOS, TX – According to KSAT, a San Antonio man died in a crash involving six vehicles that took place in San Marcos over the weekend.
The accident happened on Wonder World Drive at around 1 p.m. on Sunday. A Ford truck reportedly sideswiped a Nissan before traveling into oncoming traffic. The truck then hit four vehicles, including a pickup truck driven by 61-year-old San Antonio resident David Hollinbeck. Hollinbeck was killed in the accident.
Several people involved in the crash were hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, including Hollinbeck’s wife.
This accident is still under investigation at this time. Alcohol is suspected to have played a role.
