Multi-vehicle collision reported near Gladys Porter Zoo

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a two-car collision on Ringgold Street late Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. near the intersection of East Ringgold Street and Dean Porter Park Drive. Officials say the 52-year-old female driver of a 2006 Honda failed to control her speed and plowed into the rear of a 2018 Infiniti driven by an 18-year-old man.

No injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.
