San Antonio hit-and-run driver seriously injures woman

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was rushed to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Westfield Thursday morning.

According to KENS, the collision was reported within the 700 block of Westfield near the intersection with West Military Drive at about 10 a.m.

The victim was taken to University hospital to be treated for what has been described as “mildly severe wounds” sustained in the incident.

Witnesses reported seeing a dark grey SUV fleeing the scene immediately after the incident took place. Details regarding the identity of the victim are being withheld pending further investigation.
