Single-vehicle collision reported on Palm Blvd.

BROWNSVILLE, TX – Officials with the Brownsville Police Department responded to a single-vehicle collision in Northwest Brownsville early Monday morning.

The accident occurred along West Palm Boulevard near the intersection with East Elizabeth Street shortly after 3 a.m.

Police believe the 23-year-old male driver of a 2013 Dodge failed to maintain a single lane and ran over a curb or other fixed object on the roadway, causing damage to the vehicle’s undercarriage.

The driver was not injured as a result of the crash. Police do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
