CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Police in Corpus Christi responded to a suspected DWI crash in a residential neighborhood early Sunday morning.
The crash happened within the 2100 block of Meadowlight Parkway near the intersection with Meadowheights Drive at about 2:48 a.m.
Police believe the 49-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2015 Ford was speeding and struggling to maintain his lane before he collided head-on with a 2016 Nissan.
The man in the Ford was reportedly injured immediately following the crash. No further information with regard to his condition has been released.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
