Injury reported following rear-end collision on I-69E

BROWNSVILLE, TX – One person was reportedly injured as the result of a rear-end collision along I-69E Saturday evening.

The crash happened at about 7:23 p.m. along the interstate just north of the exit to Morrison Road.

Police believe the 35-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2014 Mercedes was traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with the rear of a 2013 Chevrolet.

The man responsible for the collision was uninjured in the accident. However, a 59-year-old female passenger in the Chevrolet was injured. No information with regard to the extent of her injuries has been released to the public at this time.
